Overview

This protection board adopts Pingxin Micro’s proprietary PW7120 protection chip, paired with four PW80N03 MOSFETs, to provide complete overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection for 2S lithium battery packs (two cells in series, 7.4 V nominal, 8.4 V fully charged). It delivers a continuous discharge current of 15 A and an overcurrent protection threshold of approximately 30 A. The integrated PW2213 cell-balancing chip effectively extends the service life of the battery pack.

Main Control Chip Introduction

PW7120 is a protection IC specially designed for 2-cell lithium batteries. It integrates overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection, requires minimal external components, and offers low power consumption.

PW2213 is a high-precision battery balancing IC that effectively eliminates voltage differences between the two cells, extends battery pack service life, and ensures charge/discharge consistency.
